Less than 24 hours to the deadline for determining the best Commissioner in Otu’s government for 2025, the duo of Commissioner Oden Ewa of Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs, and Johnson Ebokpo of Agriculture and Irrigation are in a neck and neck toward the finish line, overtaking Justin Beshel of Science and Technology.
Respondents supporting both commissioners have been sharing the accomplishments of the duo and their alignment with the Governor Otu’s “People First” agenda since assuming office in 2023
Several other commissioners especially Commissioner of Environment, Osogi; and Commissioner for Education, Dr. Odey were very good competing frontliners based on the audience responses but did not match up with Ewa and Ebokpo in the final lap
The Board of Editors of Livesonline.ng would review all the entries in line with the three-prong criteria of the testimonials of the critical mass, evidence of accomplishments as they align with the Otu’s “People First” agenda and content analysis of media reports on them, and would announce the outcome, thereafter.
The objective of this exercise is to contribute to a society where informed dialogue between government and citizens leads to more effective, fair and inclusive policies from which everyone benefits.
