One of the nation’s leading security experts and President, Umor Otutu Socio-cultural Organisation, Engr Fabian Ebri; Koinonia Pastor, Apostle Joshua Selman; and the FCT Police Commissioner, Ajao Adewale are among distinguished Nigerians that have made this year’s edition of “Changemakers: 100 Nigerians Leading Change”

Engr. Ebri uses engineering models in a unique blend with security trade craft to resolve complex community-security issues in the oil and gas industry of Nigeria.

He is currently a Senior Consultant to Sumedha Energy Ltd(SEL), a subsidiary of Sterling Oil Exploration and EnergyProduction Company Ltd(SEEPCO). He is consulting for the joint venture partnership between NNPC and SEEPCO in the OML13 conventional oilfield in Akwa Ibom State.

Ebri with his team are driving growth and development in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector, and have successfully ramped up production for Nigeria with the Utapate crude oil blend, achieving a positive response in the international market.

The OML13 field holds some significance as it contributes to Nigeria’s efforts at increasing its oil production, crucial for meeting domestic energy needs, and driving economic growth.

CP Ajao Adewale, since assuming office earlier this year, as the 33rd Commissioner of Police in charge of the FCT has quietly been combing the book and crannies of Abuja, breaking into networks of criminal gangs, rounding them up, and prosecuting them, all without television klieglights.

He’s a smooth operator with marvellous results. He is keeping to his promise of “intelligence-driven policing”

The mantra for Commissioner of Police Ajao Adewale, is “intelligence-driven and proactive policing”. And that’s what he has been doing. The numbers are showing: there’s been a significant decline in criminality in the FCT
