The University of Calabar rolled out the drums the weekend of March, 21st and 22nd to celebrate its fifty years of momentous accomplishments and history. It was an impressive occasion that was marked with glitz, pomp and pageantry. Among distinguished Nigerians that grace the occasion include the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, the Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu; and the Minister of FCT, Mr. Nyesome Wike.
