Her grandfather, the late Dr Okoi Arikpo (SAN), played a pivotal role in shaping university education as the pioneer Chief Executive of National Universities Commission, NUC; and Nigeria’s foreign policy and diplomatic engagements for several years.
His tenure as the longest-serving Foreign Affairs Minister saw Nigeria navigating complex international relations, solidifying its position as a key player on the global stage.
