The Commissioner 1 in the
CRS Civil Service Commission, Rev. Dr. Mrs Henrietta Henshaw, has described the Wife of the Cross River State Governor, Her Excellency, Bishop Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, as “a jewel of inestimable value”.
In a statement made available to livesonline.ng, to congratulate the First Lady on her birthday, Dr. Mrs. Henshaw, said Her Excellency’s beauty and brains remain evergreen, and encouraged her to continue to be a shinning light to the State and her generation.
She lauded the First Lady for astutely standing behind her husband and totally supporting his vision of spreading “sweetness of democracy dividends across the 18 LGAs of the State”
Rev. Henshaw, said through the sacrificial efforts of the First Lady since assuming office about two years ago, she has improved the status of women in the State including facilitating appointments for women and providing economic incentives and empowerment
She prayed God to give Mrs. Otu more wisdom and courage to take Cross River State to our desired dream.
